REPUBLIC ACT 9262
Anti-Violence Against Women and Their Children Act of 2004
This law protects women and children against violence.
It states that in any way, violence/abuse done to women and their children is considered a crime and anyone who breaks this law shall be punished accordingly.
Violence ranges from physical to mental abuse, sexual assault, economic abuse, etc.
