OUR GOAL
HOPE for the Youth aims to give awareness about the child violence in the Philippines. The purpose of this advocacy is to be the victims’ voices and give them HOPE in all aspects of life. HOPE for the Youth believes that children have a right to live a life without violence, exploitation, and abuse.

FACTS
Eight in 10 children and young people in the Philippines have experienced some form of violence in their lifetime that usually begins at home.
In the first three months of 2016, most of the children were victims of sexual abuse, with 539 cases; followed by neglect, with 514 cases; abandonment, with 487 cases; sexual exploitation, 233 cases, and trafficking, 214 cases.
Children in the Philippines, regardless of socio-economic status, experience high levels of violence: 2 in 3 are physically, and psychologically abused.
